Walled Lake Civic Fund 2016 Fireworks were on June 18th at Dusk!! Thanks to everyone who donated and worked to have another fabulous show!
‘Around The World’ Progressive Party
2016 Date is Saturday August 20th!
Around the World 2016 Details:
All funds are donations to the Civic Fund. All food and beverages are donations from the hosts of each stop.
Wristbands $25 donation per person – pre-event from RJ
Wrist bands are also available at each stop.
Every participant must have a wristband!
1st Stop – Condos – 11 am – siren blows at 1:15 pm – Brunch, Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas!
2nd Stop – George, Rick and Reneé – 1:30 pm – siren sounds at 4:15 pm– Yummy food, Ice Luge, Pink Panty Pull Downs and more! Water balloon launcher!
3rd Stop – Sandbar and Sundance Cantina – 4:30 pm – siren sounds at sundown – Sliders, Tacos and a keg of beer will be available until the food and beer run out. Please park in front of Sundance – not in front of private homeowners!
4th Stop– Bayside – Sundown – Live music, keg of beer and pizza!

Rules of a Successful Event:
Rule #1 Safety First!
Rule #2 Everyone must have a wristband to participate!
Rule #3 You must be 21 or older to participate – no kids or animals please.
Rule #4 Boat Captains you are responsible for all guests on your boat. If anyone becomes unruly and are asked to leave the event you are going to be asked to leave with your guest.
Rule #5 Throw and set your anchor when you arrive at each stop and remember to pull your anchor up when you leave.
Rule #6 Please don’t stand in groups on the docks – party on land or on your boat. Let’s make sure we don’t break any docks this year.
Rule#7 DO NOT tie your boat to a saw horse on a dock -only metal poles.
Rule#8 When the siren sounds please proceed to the next stop. There is a 15 minute travel time between stops.
Rule #9 Have fun!!!!
Prior fundraising events:
The 1st Annual Walled Lake Bass Fishing Tournament was June 12th! Eighty registered anglers allowed the tournament to have some really nice cash pay outs! There was an opportunity for registered anglers to catch a $10k tagged prize fish, AND make a nice donation of $600.00 to the Walled Lake Civic Fund Firework Show!!
CAYA donated 10% of all sales on June 9th! Everyone who visited had a wonderful dinner and raised $300 for the WLCF. Thank you to Jeff and the team at CAYA for all of your support and donations!
The 2016 Golf Outing was June 4th the Links of Novi. Golfers had a 1:30 Shotgun Start, registration included 18 holes and a cart, Hot Dog and
Chips at the turn, Summer Buffet Dinner, and cash bar.
Thanks to all the golfers and sponsors who helped raise $5000! Watch for next years date!
Thanks to everyone who came to the Bowling Fund Raiser on March 5th!
We raised $1500.
